Well I just read over the mass email notifying everyone about my new blog. The first sentence says

"Hopefully I will keep up whit this wee."

Terrible, can you tell I was multitasking at the time, and not doing a very good job of it. My apologies! What I meat to say was, hopefully I will keep up with this better than I do email and the website.

V-day

This is what I made Vince for Valentine's day. It's 24"x24". Thanks to all of you creative people who inspired me to make my own version of your beautiful frames, and to Joyce for directing me to them. Enjoy!

Angies

My Aunt Angie is a huge inspiration. I love her sense of style and creativity. She has even let me do a little painting in her beautiful home in TX. Her friend drew this image on the wall, in my cousin Zoe's room, and I painted it during a visit. We also added the polka dots on the wall and I made a growth chart to match.

On our trip to TX for New Year's I painted the ceiling in their dining room. What a great expeience, thanks guys!

Ok here we go

Ok, I have decided that this is a better way to tell about the family and show everyone "new stuff" as opposed to emails and the website. So I hope you all enjoy!

Here is my latest work...the bookcases were originally white and

I added a gray and black wash to warm them up a bit. My inspiration was the mantle. The client wanted the bookcases to be similar but a little darker. We were pleased!
